As a woman who is always on-the-go, I sometimes have no time to run and get my nails done. Between school, work and blogging I lose track of time and have events every week. Nails are very important and can say a lot about a woman, especially if you are in the beauty and fashion industry. So today's post is all about the ImPRESS Manicure.
When you think about press on nails, the first thing that come to mind is plastic, fake and not something you can rely on. But after trying the ImPRESS Manicure, I was very impressed (no pun intended) with the quality and hold of the press on nails.
The first set that I tried was the Ultra Gel Shine in a dark chocolate/maroon color (the boxes I received did not have any names on them). As far as application goes, it's only 6 simple steps:
- Select your nail sizes. I just laid out the nails from the pinky nail to the thumb nail for my left hand as well as for my right hand.
- Cleanse your nails thoroughly with soap and water.
- Cleanse dry nails with the prep pad that is provided.
- Peel off backing on the nail.
- Apply the nail from the cuticle to the tip.
- Press down firmly on each side of nail.
...and voila! Your nails are ready. For the first hour it is recommended that you do not wash your hands and that you apply pressure to each nail.
ImPRESS Manicure provides:
- No dry time
- UltraHold Technology
- Mega Gel Shine
- Safe for natural nails
- Price point $6.99+
- 40+ shades, designs & accent nails available.
The second and my favorite set was the Matte finish manicure with the glitter accent nail. The nail length on this set was noticeably shorter than the previous set and much more comfortable. This set required the same application process as the previous one.
As for removal, the nails can easily be removed by lifting a corner with extra pressure or with some nail polish remover. Afterwards, your nails look just as normal as they did before application. No harm done here!
Overall I am very satisfied with the ImPRESS Manicure. Now I know that these nails actually work, especially if you are in a time crunch. The best part is that they actually look like my real nails, so I don't feel uncomfortable flaunting them.
