Urban Decay: Glitter & Lashes.

Last month I received the most generous package ever from Urban Decay Cosmetics, filled with tons of sparkle and amazing products. In todays post I am highlighting three products that I have been loving.

I am first going to start off with the Moondust Eyeshadows. These babies gliiterally changed my life! I love the formulation and how they can take any look up a notch with a touch of shimmer and glow. When applying the shadow, the texture is much like a cream, but applies like a powder. Some are more pigmented than others. For instance, the one I am wearing down below, Space Cowboy, is best used when applied under a creme or beige toned shadow. While other shades have an underlying pigment that gives off color along with glitter and dimension.

Before I received this package, I had already purchased one of the Moondust shadows in Diamond Dog and I absolutely loved it. These babies run around $21 USD. A few of the shades are also exclusive to the Urban Decay website. Some of the shadows give off different finishes, so if you ever find yourself near an Urban Decay Makeup counter, or at your local Ulta or Sephora, you should definitely give them a swatch!

Glitter may be a little intimidating at first, but when you find your favorite ways to wear it, it becomes fun to incorporate in your makeup looks. In the photo down below I am wearing the Heavy Metal Glitter Liner in Distortion. This is an iridescent shade that has to be built up for color or glitter pay off. But most of the other liners have a higher glitter concentration, perfect for an all over glittery lid or for application with nothing underneath.

These Glitter liners have a clear base and are made with a water-based formulation for the best glitter payoff. Since they are made with a clear base, the glitter is the star of the show. Therefore, you can get the true color of the glitter.

My favorite way to wear these glitter liners is overtop of my black cat eye, or in my inner corners, for a pop of color. You can also apply these all over the lid for a glam look! I definitely recommend purchasing these liners to add some fun to your makeup collection. The cost of the Heavy Metal Glitter Liners is $20 USD.

Wearing: Heavy Metal Glitter Liner in Distortion & Perversion False Lashes in Bait.

False lashes can take a look from 0-100 very quick. So when choosing lashes, I always opt for a comfortable lash with a thin band, since they are easier to apply. But when I tried the Urban Decay false lashes, my life was forever changed. From the lash band to the glue, these lashes are perfection. They have been the easiest false lashes I have ever applied.

The glue is an iridescent color and when applied to the lash line, it turns into a blue color when it is ready and tacky. This glue helped the lashes stay on all day and has been the best lash glue I have ever tried. I wish they sold it separately!

My favorite style of lashes is in "Bait" I have worn this style multiple times and I love how much volume they give my lashes. The falsies run around $15 USD. Totally worth the price since I have gotten a lot of wear out of this pair and I still continue to wear them. The quality is amazing! If you look at the photo under the Glitter Liner up above, I am wearing the Perversion False Lashes in Bait.

Overall, I am very pleased with the contents of this generous package! I hope you all enjoyed my thoughts on my top picks. Let me know what some of your favorite Urban Decay products are, I would love to try them out.

Love, Jomy! Xx
