Hello beauties! Today's post is a review on some amazing products that I have been trying out for the past few weeks. So if you're interested in reading about the Ashley Sievert Beauty products I've been using, then read on!
Finding the right foundation shade is the key to success for a beautiful makeup look, so the first and most important step when choosing your Ashley Sievert Beauty base shade is purchasing the Mineral Velvet Creme Sample Pack ($10.00 USD). With 7 shades, these tester packs have two pumps or a one time use to see which color is your match. One of my favorite things about ASB is how all the shades are named after cities around the world.
Let's talk base: The Mineral Velvet Creme ($48.00 USD) is a whipped full coverage foundation with long-wearing power. It is also water-resistant with a non-chemical SPF of 15. The beauty of this foundation is that primer is not a necessary step. Although I always (as a habit) apply a primer, the foundation does work best on bare/unprimed skin. It is hypoallergenic, oil-free and designed for all skin-types. For a full and seamless coverage, this foundation is best applied with the ASB Flat Top Vegan Foundation "Air" Brush. Overall, I really enjoy how long-wearing this foundation is. With the Florida heat, this foundation is definitely a must! I absolutely loved how my skin looks and feels while wearing it. It also looks amazing in both pictures and videos! I wear the shade "L.A."
Let's talk glow: The Glow Under Eye brightener ($28.00 USD) is a universal under eye brightener and concealer for light-olive skin tones. It is hypoallergenic and can also be used as an eye-shadow base. I really enjoy how much life this concealer gives me. I love applying it with my fingers and blending it out with my damp beauty blender. It's the perfect highlighting concealer, so I definitely recommend it.
Let's talk Powder: The Mineral Finishing Velvet Powder ($30.00) is a hypoallergenic and oil-free pressed powder. This powder is best applied with the ASB Dome Top Vegan Powder "Air" Brush. For me, it can be difficult to find pressed powders that don't leave a white/bright cast on your skin, but this one is amazing because it is not cakey and it does not leave a white cast in photos. It is also very buttery when applied, it definitely sets the make up for all-day staying power. I wear the shade " New York."
Let's talk brushes: The Velvet "Air" Brushes are vegan, cruelty-free and are made from taklon synthetic fibers which are allergy free. They are available in a set ($90.00) or sold separately ($12.00-$22.00). You can also purchase the brush holder itself which is handy for traveling ($25.00). I have washed these brushes once and they did not shed. The drying time was overnight since a few of the brushes are very dense and you must make sure they are completely dry before use. These brushes are definitely worth the price because of how great the quality is. They are extremely soft and are perfect for blending.
Top to bottom: Large Flat Top, Dome Top, Taper/Contour, Angle/Blush, Fluffy/Blending and Small Flat/Concealer.
Overall I really enjoy and love this brand as a whole. Ashley Sievert has done an incredible job with these products and packaging. This is a luxurious brand at a great price! I definitely recommend you give these products a go and see what greatness they will bring into your makeup routine.
