Hey everyone! Today I am bringing you an awesome collab with my friend Ivana from 'Til The Heels Fall Off! After brainstorming for a few days, and not knowing what we could possibly come up with, Ivana came up with the brilliant idea of a blind date with a fashion twist. So an hour or two before we met up we picked outfits for each other that best describe our own personal style and switched roles.
As you can see, Ivana's style is timeless, classy and refined. She makes wearing heels look so easy and effortless. If you follow Ivana on Instagram (@Ivana_Cora) you notice her style has a lot of structure with a mix of comfort. I don't know how she does it, but she pulls it off well. So being the weirdo that I am, I decided to go for a Nasty Gal/cutesy vibe when styling her. After reading one of her recent outfit posts, I knew that she was obsessed with one of her hats, so why not go for a completely different style of hat? So I did, and she loved it! I know that she loves gold jewelry so I put together some gold-layered necklaces to tie the look together. Ivana has one of the nicest tans ever, so I chose this white Nasty Gal dress because I knew it would contrast her skin and she would definitely stand out. It's crazy that we're the exact same size from head to toe, so that definitely made it easier for us when styling each other. As for shoes, I went for some brown chunky heeled cutout booties. I am so happy with how her outfit turned out. You can definitely tell that it's my outfit and that I styled her because it is definitely something I would wear.
When it came down to my outfit I was definitely put out of my comfort zone but in the best way possible. She managed to make me look and feel so elegant. The amazing thing is that when you look at my outfit, you can definitely see Ivana and her style. For the top she chose a see-through black lace long-sleeved crop top, the perfect amount of sexy and classy. When I saw the leather oxblood skirt, I must admit, I was a little intimidated. But she managed to tie the look together with some leopard print pumps that definitely made the outfit look amazing. I'm so happy that she chose this outfit because I would have never thought about putting something like this together and sometimes it's great to step out of your comfort zone and try out new things.
Overall, I am so happy with how this style swap turned out. Ivana has an amazing eye for style and I am glad that we both enjoyed this experience along with our cool outfits. Aside from having killer style, Ivana is so down-to-earth and cool to hangout with, I can't wait to see what is in store for her and her blog!
Stay tuned for some future collabs!
I hope you all enjoyed this post; I know it was a long one but It was such a fun post for me.
Until next time,
love, Jomy! xx
